Paul Andrew Neisinger

Paul traveled from Germany to NYC as a small child with his parents Jacob and Gertrude and siblings Julia and Jacob. Upon arrival, his family immediately left the east coast locating in Wisconsin until he was age fourteen, when they homesteaded in Dakota Territory.

Paul remained in North Dakota until past age thirty when he uprooted to Minneapolis to find work. He and his brother Jake were bachelor roommates in Minneapolis for a short time before he married Theresa Magill. Paul made his living in the city as a carpenter. They had three children Walter 1901-1920, Raymond 1905-2000, and Mabel Spark Longabough 1910-1998. Theresa, a long time patient at the State Mental Health Hospital in Rochester, lived from 1875-1969. Son Walter Neisinger was hit and killed by a train at age 18 years old and is buried in his dad’s hometown Lidgerwood, North Dakota.

Paul is buried alone in north Minneapolis’ large Crystal Lake Cemetery.
